My Brother Dave

In 1953 along came our Dave.

One of the heaviest babies ever seen, he was born on my parent's wedding anniversary. A joy to behold and I loved him from the momement he was born. He cried for months since he had a really bad nappy rash but as he grew older he stopped crying and has never cried with nappy rash since he was 6 years old when my father died the day after his birthday.

Dave in 1960 in Enfield Street where my grandparents lived. Note the braces.

He married Lesley-Anne and at this point in time has 7 children but may have more - no bookie will take a bet on what his final total of offspring may be.

(Update August 1998
they now have 8! - a lovely boy)

He runs football teams, his own business and a family. Since his business is building (via Quantity Surveying) he just builds extensions onto his house every time a baby is born.

(Update - a new room is on the way!)
